FDIC Transaction Account Guarantee Program Disclosure

The First National Bank & Trust Company, Okmulgee - Henryetta has chosen not to participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee program. Customers of First National Bank & Trust Company, Okmulgee - Henryetta with noninterest-bearing transaction accounts will continue to be insured through December 31, 2009 for up to $250,000 under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules. 

The Board and Management of the First National Bank & Trust, Okmulgee - Henryetta have neither asked for or are in need of financial assistance from the Federal Government in the operation of the Bank. Our Capital levels are well above all minimums prescribed by our primary banking regulators and we feel that our future prospects in Okmulgee County are very good. While the FDIC program is temporary and will expire in December 2009, First National recently celebrated its 90th anniversary and we plan on being here for several more years.
